My dad chose Through the Years by Kenny Rogers. I listen to it every chance I get so hopefully by the time my wedding comes around I'll be sick of it so I wont cry

OMG I'm just going through a list & You-tube....I listened to Butterfly kisses and my face is DRENCHED!!!!!! I seriously can't do this on my wedding day (I don't know why this stuff gets to me....)

i've picked 'my wish' by reascal flats, its sweet but not sappy at all. I'm also not that close with my dad, so i didnt want anything over done,but its about his wish for nothing but the best and all the happiness for the future, kinda fitting, it took a long time to decide this one though

I am using Rascall Flats, my wish too, but ever since I decided that, it makes me weepy. And Im not a mushy daddys little girl.
What about 'the way you look tonight'? a little more upbeat...may not make you weepy.

You will think this is funny, but I have a reason.
I am using 'The Rainbow Connection' by Kermit the Frog. One of my earliest memories is of watching The Muppet Show with my dad as a kid, so I thought it would be appropriate. But, I'm a daddy's girl, and anything will make me cry!

We're thinking 'In my daughter's eyes' by Martina McBride. My dad is a big country fan and it's a really pretty song. I was wondering if it was too mother/daughter, but there's nothing that couldn't make it be from a father...other than sang by woman.

I'm dancing with my dad to a song called 'Dance With Me Daughter of Mine' by Andy Cooney. Its a bit 'irishy' sounding but its upbeat so its not AS sad as it could be. Its about a father dancing with his daughter on his wedding day. )But its not depressingly sad!) Just figured I'd throw that out there....haha
