FH and I are going to a BBQ tomorrow at a friend of his home. They are expecting a baby so I want toget something small for that but we have not been to their house since they moved in a few months ago and never got them a house warming gift. They have been married for at least 5 years so I am sure they have everything they need. I don't want to get candles or a picture frames and the wife does not drink so a bottle of wine is out. I also do not want to spend an arm and a leg!!!!
Getting married in 2 weeks....the well is almost dry! LOL
Anyone have any ideas????

bring a dessert, and a babygift it could be a blanket, or if shes not far along a what to expect when expecting, or if shes far along a what to expect the first year book

can you bake them something and then buy a platter of some sort that they can keep for you to present it to them on? you can wrap it up all pretty and it won't cost all tht much money!!

I posted a recipe for ambrosia.. its a summery mix, really quick and easy to make... DELICIous too... 2 cans Mandarin oranges 1 X-large can of Pineapple Sliced Stawberrys (summer) 1 pint sour cream 1 bag mini marshmallows
Drain all canned fruit. Mix together and let sit overnight... If in a rush, make an hour prior and let sit in freezer. Serve chilled.
I would definately bring a little something for the baby to be.... Good Luck!
