We have considered Timepiece from Franklin Wayne and are looking into Times Square Orchestra, but my FH wants an 11 piece to 12 piece band. Any suggestions and prices??? Thanks guys

Try Steven Scott Orchestras. They have bands of different styles and sizes. I'm pretty sure they have bands the size you're looking for. I used one of their 8 piece bands and was very happy with them.

Bands I would recommend that can definitely do 11-12 pieces:
Paul Rich Music (that's who we are using) Vali Music (they have 4 bands and do weeknight showcases in Manhattan - a close second choice for us - they were great!) NYC Swing (they also have a number of bands) Central Park by Steven Scott (see above post) Manhattan Rhythm Machine by Jerry Kravat
Let me add that we ended up looking mostly at NYC bands b/c that's where we live and work. Surprisingly, we found that the NYC bands were often more affordable than the LI bands.

I booked Timpiece and love them. They are 9 pieces...I guess you could add 1-2 and make it a 10-11 pc band. A friend of mine added 1-2 more horn players to Daybreak Nite and made it a really bigger than the usual 9 piece. I like them alot too.

We booked Time piece and have gone to see them at different places because they are so wonderful!! They are reasonable in $$$ too. Definately worth it. I wanted a 12 piece band but when I heard these guys I was blown away1!!

we're using an italian-american band but the american band we liked most out of all we saw was Renegade. they are a LI Paramount band. I think they are 9 pieces. not 100% sure, they may be bigger. they sound like they are bigger though. i highly recommend checking them out.

We booked Big City Swing Band, which is one of NYC Swing Bands and they are 10-12 piece band. Here is a link to there website:
You can listen to them online and watch a video and they will send you video, but they also do showcases from time to time in NYC. They are incredible! My mom has seen a couple of the NYC Swing Band play at a couple of weddings and said that this was the only band we should consider. If you have any questions feel free to send FM.

Paul Rich Orchestra - we did 9 pieces but he can do 12. Not sure of the price as I don't have the contract handy, but call him as he is really nice and great to deal with. My cousin attended a wedding he did last weekend and said he was by far the best wedding band she'd heard. He's in brooklyn but covers all of LI and into NJ.

i had a 12 piece band- they are fantastic..
not many people on here use them, but they are really great.
