Re: i need a job
I too, wanted to teach badly but was in a business field (Psych degree). I began teaching in a Catholic school (initially you only needed a bachelors), I have since received my Masters in ECE, but am still having a hard time finding a job in a public school---but you may be able to get your foot in the door in a private school. Good luck.

It is very difficult to find a job, in the meantime if you want to tutor and get some experience, i'm very good friends with this one company, forum me if interested or if you just want info.

Everyone in the math department at the college where I work has a doctorate in math, but if you finish a master's in math you could adjunct. Are you starting your master's?

Re: i need a job
i was thinking about queens borough community and other 2 year schools. (i live in queens) and also i was thinking about going to check at any catholic school. i was thinking i might have some luck because math is a high need subject. i know i would be in demand if i only had the education degree with the math. i want to get my masters in math and i might start next semester if DH and i decide we are staying in the area for a while. ( i refuse to transfer once i start)
