I need a lawyers opinion...

I hired a band over a year ago. I gave them a deposit. The band leader who is also the lead male singer and mc passed away. We only found out by stumbling upon it in the obituaries. I told them I didnt want them anymore because he was the one who we loved in the band. I mean the lead singer sells the band. If hes not good you keep looking... Anyway, they wont send me my deposit back and I want it!!! Do you think Im wrong? Do you think I have a case? His name is stated in my contract.

JUST TO PUT EVERYONES MIND AT EASE... NO ONE ON HERE IS USING THEM! PLEASE DONT FREAK. IF YOU ARE REALLY CONCERNED ILL FM YOU BUT I KNOW NO ONE IS USING THEM. WHEN I POSTED IN THE PAST ABOUT THEM NO ONE EVER HEARD OF THEM.
