I can not decide on invites, I feel like I do not like any of them, I want elegant but then I feel they are two plan and then I want something beachy to go with my theme, but is that cheesy? Any ideas???

I agree with you. I looked through a book and I feel like none of them were elegant enough.
DO you really need an ellaborate invitation? I don't think so, but it's all about your own taste.
I would go with something simple, but elegant. Perhaps something that has a pearlized border. Or, I've also seen something that opens like a tri fold card and has an image on the front that comes together when folded. Did that make sense?
Anyway, invitations are a huge headache

I am getting these invites. They are simple yet elegant...and inexpensive! I think they are birchcraft but I know Carlson Craft as other classy looking shell ones.
i saw some very pretty, very simple but ELEGANT beachy invites the other day....they were either Birchcraft or Celebrations...They were an ivory/pearl color, with a raised ivory/pearl border, with just a few sanddollars and starfish in the border.
I commented to Fh that they would be gorgeous for a beach wedding!
Add some chocolate or sandy/caramel color font, and they'd be to-die-for!

I completely understand your issue. I CAN NOT find anything. I just visited the following web site and like a few: www.notfromabox.com I am going to meet with them today (they're in FL). Do you have party city in NY? If so, they have a million invites. And no a beach theme is not cheesy. But all the beach invites I have seen are far from elegant, they're more casual and informal.
