I need a little help...

Hi Everyone,
I am new to the site, I discovered this site a few weeks ago and have gotten some useful info.

I got engaged last August, but haven't done much as far as wedding planning goes. Busy with work and family stuff.

This past week, we finally decided its time and we booked a date (Aug 20, 2011) at Chataue La Mer. This means I have about 6 mon to plan my entire wedding.

I was hoping to get some ideas of where to go for flowers, how much that would cost me.

Not sure what else I need. This is all happening so fast. Everyone keeps telling me that I won't be able to plan everything in 6 mon and that i should hire a planner. But i am trying to save money. We are not getting any help from anyone.

Any suggestions will be appriciated.

Photog: Duet, Thomas Paul, Pat Ken are all popular photographers. I'm using Ricky Restiano and I thrilled with him!

I wen with absolute entertainment for dj but in the mood gave me great prices too!!

My best friend is a photographer and does amazing work

I didn't need limos....

I have spoken and seen some great vendors all willing to work with a budget

You can totally do it!! Your always going to hear opinions but just remember to keep on track & book these vendors!!

Flowers- We're using Michelle from Hidden Essence. Extremely sweet & knew EXACTLY what I wanted!!

Photo & Video- Lighthouse Photography. We'll being using Cecilia. Very impressive work!!! Very affordable & can work with a budget!

DJ- Chris from Party Connection! AWESOME PACKAGE!

Limo- Elegant Limos in Medford! we got 3 limos for our day bc we wanted a classic car & fell in love with the one they had!
