I need a new hair colorist

My hairdresser moved and now I am looking for a colorist who can highlight dark brown hair without it looking fake and brassy. Anyone have any suggestions? thanks

I go to someone in West Babylon...I LOVE HER! It's the first hair salon that I LOVE going to and they totally understand what I want!

When my hair was highlighted, I got compliments on ym color all the time. And the salon she works in is a little no frills, but you can't bea tthe price, she does a whole head for me for $65.

Cathy at Palace in Franklin Square. I've sent a couple of girls there from school and they loved her too.

Not sure what area you're looking to go to but my colorist is in NYC at Dop Dop Salon -- her name is Lori Zabel and she is amazing!!!

Thanks for the suggestion! I just looked on the website and it says $65 and up for highlights, including cut and blowout, is that true?!?

My colorist freelances she can come to your house or you can go to her studio in manhasset...she's awesome 5165082708...

Anyhoosier...

I go to this great lady in Astoria. Orsola at Salon Envee. I love her. I called the salon a couple years ago and spoke to her for a few minutes about making my hair light brown. When I got to the salon, she showed me light brown and I kept saying, 'No, lighter.' She's like, 'Rebecca, do you want to be blonde?' I laughed and said yes. I've been blonde ever since and sooo happy!
