I need a new umbrella, it poured yesterdayll!!!!!!

My surprise shower was yesterday at Singleton's in Bethpage and it was fantastic. My sister did a wonderful job putting it together and my FMIL did a great job decorating. She made all the centerpieces and decorations. My bridal was so helpful as well. The best part was my 2 aunts from out of state flew in on Friday night and surprised me. My family kept them away from me for 2 whole days. They had to leave this morning but I was able to spend some time with them. I will post pics as soon as i can. We got so much stuff thankfully we just got an apartment to put it all. It was everything I could ever ask for.

*** The shower was amazing, I suspected something was up in the last 2 days when my niece was never home AT ALL. I didn't know for sure until I was about to walk in. I found out later they kept her away from me because they didn't want her to tell me my aunts were here. I am so happy they flew in for this.

My FMIL as crazy as she is, made all the decorations and table decor. One other unique thing she did was gave me box upon box that said 'Merry Christmas', Happy Valentine's Day', Happy Fourth of July' etc (there was St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving , and 'Everyday' too)
and inside were all place mats,napkins,coffee mugs, tablecloths, bowls/plates, and other decor for each holiday. Now I am set.

All of our friends and family gave us so many wonderful gifts and his parents, grandma, grandparents are buying our furniture (bedroom set, kitchen set, and living room set) for our new apartment. It was so much more than expected.

One of the best parts was that my bridesmaid (who i've known since i am 5 yrs old, the one who is due w/ her first baby 2 weeks before the wedding and had to drop out) told me she found a dress in destination maternity that is the same color as the BM dresses and she bought it b/c she might end up going early as per her doctor. She said she would do her best and try but it is likely she will deliver sooner) I know there is still a chance but its funny how things work out b/c the florist never canceled her bouquet on our contract when we placed our final order. Funny how fate works.... These are memories that will last a lifetime, girls always take a minute to look around and take it all in..... Thanks for reading my novel!
