I need a pep talk

Thanks for all the wonderful posts that helped me deal w/ my problem of having to change my wedding from a Friday night to a Saturday night. Unfortunately, as soon as I had come to terms w/ this change I found out that the band I love is not available on any of the Saturday nights that my reception hall has available next summer. I am really bummed out. Now I am afraid that I may have this problem w/ more vendors, because they are busier on Saturdays.... It is getting later and later to book vendors for August 2003, especially for a Saturday night. I'm afraid I'll have this problem w/ photographers also. It just seems so overwhelming right now to have to find a new band and search for a photographer...

Just relax, Long Island is full of so many great vendors.....you will find someone trust me.

I am sure you will have to start over again...first what you should do is call any vendors that you have booked to see if they have your new date available...then take it from there. I hope you will not lose your deposits if you have made any. All the best to you and chin up it will all work out

You have 11 months -- you're going to be fine. My wedding is the 21st (10 days away - ) and we were engaged on October 25, 2001 -- and we found everyone that virtually everyone we wanted was available.
