I need a percolator!

My FI and I are not big coffee drinkers..but I want to put a percolator on my registry for when we have company and stuff...can someone recommend a good one??

I was going to say the Farberware ... my mother has had them all my life. I think they definitely make sense id you don't drink coffee all the time or only need to make a cup or two.

Yeah Farberware -- my mom, aunt and myself have one. I put it on my registry - I got the 12 cup one.

I got the Farberware one - and have never used it, but only because we can't fit enough people into our co-op to need it!

I have the Farberware one. I think it's a 30-40 cup perculator. I take it out every now and then when I have a crowd over.

They are not too expensive and really come in handy.Perculator

This is for a big crowd and it's a West Bend..I couldn't find the Farberware one. This one is 30 bucks.

If it's just for a few people get a regular coffee brewer like a Mr. Coffee..10 or 12 cup. It's about $50.

I have the same one.It is a 4 -12 cup, so it is good for just you, or for reasonable, apartment sized company.



I don't drink coffe , but & DH never does at home, but I wanted to have one for company & he picked this b/c he thinks percolated comes out better than drip coffe.
We have used it 3 times & once was just a test! :

Farberware is the best. We have some that are older than me! They last forever and theya re reasonably priced!

It depends..some people like perked coffee and some people like drip...etc..it tastes different.

i have both- its a different taste

They'll get what ever coffee I give them when they are at my home ...thanks ladies!
