Oooooh, I have an EXCELLENT recipe for Chicken Cordon Bleu and it's sooooo easy!

ETA: How hard can it be... it's a Rachel Ray recipe!

I want to make steak since I haven't had it in a while but we can't grill yet in the yard!! Any recipes for indoor steak ideas?!

Check out allrecipes.com they are really great, I have been using them for everything that I make.
I am such a great cook now, I haven't cooked before I moved in with FH

Why can't you grill outside yet? We grill all winter long!!!

I think you can make London Broil on the stove... lemme check my 'Joy Of Cooking' book

I made a chicken salsa dish tonight..It's freakin delicious...FH made up the recipe..very yummy and good for you too. Easy to make also...

The grill is broke And FH and my dad are in the process of building a custom made grill in the backyard!

OK... as per Joy Of Cooking....

Pat Dry:
1 Boneless beef flank steak (about 1/5lbs)

Rub each side of cut with a halved garlic clove

Season generously with dried oregano, salt and pepper to taste.

Heat a large, heavy skillet or griddle over high heat. Once the pan is hot, sear the steak on one side for 4-5 minutes. Turn it over and sear the other side for 3-4 minutes. Make a small incision and check the center. It should be slightly less done than desired. Remove steak from pan and let stand for 5 minutes, then carve diagonally across the grain into 1/4 inch slices....

we get mccormicks montreal steak seasoning you make the mixture (olive oil, seasoning, and soysauce) marinate it for an hour or more... then broil it in the stove.. its AWEOSME!! and so tasty!!
