I need a second JOB

Im starting to stress big time about money. I have set a budget and put away a certain amount a week and im on target but im thinking about all the extras i want and FI new job is not helping because his pay *****. So does anyone know anywhere in the masspequa area that is hiring a night shift from 6 on on weekdays ? I just need a little extra cash. it ***** because i make more money than him and i have to get the second job,
Maybe im just PMSING right NOW>..LOL...But im so mad.

If you live near a Bed bayh and beyond we are starting to hire plus u get a discount! lol

WHich one do u work at? DO you know if they have shifts from 6- closing?

I work at the plainview store but i am sure any of them will be hiring we are starting to get our summer stuff in.

Welcome to my world ladies!!!!!! I am a full time teacher by day, and the bethpage JV girls lacrosse coach by afternoon, AND I do early intervention with 2 and 3 yr olds in their homes by night. PLUS I am going to grad school for my masters. He is a mailman. I make more $$$ than him in my one teaching job, but it still isnt enough - and I STILL have to work two more jobs to make ends meet and try to save up!!!! It totally *****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't ever bring it up to him though because I know he works hard and tries really hard. He never went to college so if he gets a 2nd job, he will only get like minimum wage, and it almost isnt even worth it, ya know! Oh well -- everything works out in the end, right!

What kinda store is that? What kind of hours? Do u work there too? Or just know there hiring.

I feel you...I got a 2nd and 3rd job to help with costs a little...both Teaching Dance but 2 different studio's on all the way on the north shore in Locust Valley and the other all the way on the south shore in Babylon!!!

I was store manager, but this is my final week. It is a size 12-26 store that only carries trendy clothing, it is a sister store of Hot topic

Have you thought about bartending? Or even waitressing, with the hours you are looking for that would be ideal...WIth many stores they close at 8pm so just two hours wont do much and then especially they take out taxes obviously. Those are great options for working nights

You should definatly look into waitressing, if you find the right place you could make a lot of extra money!! Preferably at one of your local town resturaunts thats where ive made the most money, chain resturaunts are very strict and can keep you there till like after midnite! I work two 9-10hour shifts a week and thats all I need. Just from those two days I average give and take 400 a week take home not inlcuding my paycheck. I cant work any more then part time because I am a full time student otherwise I would be in the $$$$ ESPECIALLY in the summer! Try fire island and on the water seafood places!!! So I hope I inspired you to look around and try waitressing!!! Good luck

Theres another thing you can do, and even if you do just one or two nights you can make real good money and its so easy...Doing bottle service at a club...Basically you work in the vip area of the club where everybody gets a table, and the way people get tables is they are required to buy a minimum number of bottles, most clubs its two bottles and the bottle is about $300 each, some clubs are even a minimum of 4 bottles such as marquee...You bring them their bottles, with stuff like orange juice, cranberry and redbull on the side or whatever they ask...Just come to their tables and see if they need anything, you don't do every table in there, theres a couple of girls...Some girls honestly make about $500 a night

Thanks ladies for the ideas but I really dont want to get a second job but i think ill need. Ill never have time for anything....UGGGG i hate this...LOL
