I am just looking for someone to do a short and sweet video. I don't need them all day, maybe just the cerremony and a little of the reception. Most places are booked or don't want to take such a smalll job. I want to spend under $1000.
Any suggestions???

Ok, go to Wedding Services, then on the top click on Vendor Request. Go down, click Videographers and they should all contact you soon. Hope that helps! I would post on Vendor's helping Brides as well. Good luck!

Try Bellarino. I believe they have a package for under $1,000 and they were great to work with. Many brides on here have used them and were very happy. www.bellarino.com

I used JR video...and LOVED them. They are on this site, and have a price list on their website
I also here that Imagine's videos are pretty good. I went to a showcase and saw a video done by JR and It was really good also.

I just booked a videographer, Joe Licul (yes, that is his real name...pronounced Joe Li Cool) from a studio in Manhattan called A Fashionable Event. After seeing his work and having a sitdown with himself and my fiance, we felt like we knew him forever. I'm actually looking so forward to having him cover our wedding day.

Opps...the studio's number is 212-330-9933. I beleive they only cater to one wedding a weekend, so you might wanna give them a call.

this was posted on weddingchannel.com yesterday.... 'Ladies, I just wanted to recommend my wedding videographer--his work was fabulous, and trust me, I know as I have interviewed over 15 people. On top of that, he charges much less than the usual NYC prices (I got him from 3 to 10.30 pm, for $500). He is a NYU film student, a perfectionist, and has an awesome touch for cool details. Very unobtrusive, and does exactly what you want him to do. He makes you about 35 min video, and gives you also the raw footage if you want it. Bellarino charges 1000 for raw footage - I believe an edited package starts at 1200. I'm using them and love them - but those are the prices I remember!
