Well here goes my FH's mom is a caterer and she is offering to do the flowers.. we pay for the supplies and she sets it up. But she lives in Florida. Now i am nervous that the day of the wedding she'll be too busy setting up and I want her there for pics and stuff... should i let her do it?????

JMO but i would be nervous, usually both moms are very busy the day of, but also if she wants to do it and it will save you money its your choice.

No i agree 100%.. But it really may come out cheaper.. Flowers are 1500 and up. The prices for flowers are crazy

yeah, it will be too crazy...say that to save her the stress and aggravation, you will get them done elsewhere. also, you want her to be a part of the wedding with u guys, not working on flowers.

i think i would be stressed too, maybe you can nicely tell her that you will get them done somewhere else, bc you want her to enjoy the day with you and her son, and dont want to add that extra to her plate

What time is your wedding? If it's at noon, I'd say don't let her do them bc she'll have too many other things going on....but if your wedding is like at 6pm, she def could have time.

yeah i know but now im telling my FH and his getting so upset... He's getting offended.. well we are going to Florida and the ill talk to here face to face thank you all for you opinions.. I thought i was the only one that thought like that..

she's not going to have time...she would have to get up insanely early in the morning...go set everything up...come home get her hair and makeup done get dressed and then be ready and go with you to the ceremony and all that...she's going to be tired and is going to look miserable because she's exhausted...you don't want her to be unhappy on the biggest day of your two families lives

She may have time. My sis and MOH is doing my flowers for a 6pm wedding. It depends how extravagant the arrangements are. U could have the BO-K's done by a florist and have FMIL do the centerpieces. It could def work!

Kindly tell her she can do soemthing minor (I wouldn't use thta word but you get the point) and let her know you don't want her stressing. She's gonna be exhausted and you guys are gonna regret it. Is their anyway she can do this night before. I'm not sure what flowers you are using but its a thought.
