Ok, the situation is that I asked my FSIL if she would be my MOH because my sister said she wouldn' do it(long story and really hurt ). But one of my friends (since I was 3) I think expects me to ask her to be my MOH. The thing about my friend is that we recently started talking about 8 months ago after not speaking with each other for 2 years. I feel that my FSIL will always be there for me and she will be my family.
Another thing is that my friend since 6th grade lives in North Carolina and i would like her to be my bridesmaid but she is unreliable because she didn't return my phone calls for about two months but we are speaking now.
I'm thinking that I should just have a MOH in my bridal party but at the same time my FH has another sister(younger) and I don't know how she would feel if I asked her older sister and didn't ask her to be in my bridal party. But then again she is unreliable because she was invited to my surprise b-day party and that day she called my FH and said she wasn't coming after he paid for her to go!
I don't know if this makes sense or if anyone needs me to make anything more clear but this is something that I've had on my mind and I need advice. I don't want to make waves or make anyone feel bad. I just don't know what to do!

I wouldn't base your decision on asking someone to be a BM on whether or not they are reliable... I would base it on the fact that you want them to be part of your wedding day!
About asking the younger sister... I'd ask her if I were you. I have an older sister and if someone asked her and not me, I'd be upset.
Good Luck!!

The thing is I want them to be my BM but I don't want to be upset by someone not showing up or something on my wedding day.

Totally understand! If they are unreliable to the point where they wouldn't show up to your wedding, that's a different story!! GL!

Re: I need advice...
Your wedding day is different than a birthday party....plus it is her brother's wedding and I know she wouldn't miss it for the world!!!
I would definitely aske her....she is family after all!! I had a similar situation with one of my friends....I didn't ask her to be in my BP because she is going to school in Hawaii and just isn't reliable enough, plus there is a possibility that she won't be able to make it to the wedding even.
It isn't easy picking a BP.....just go with your gut on this one....I would stick to your FSIL as MOH too!!! She is family and since you weren't talking to your friend until recently, I wouldn't ask her!!

But then what about the other sister? I know this is a stupid question but can I still have Bachlorette Party?lol

Go with the one you can count on. I have 2 younger sisters and actually ended up changing my mind who I was going to ask to be my MOH based on the fact that the younger of the 2 is way far from being responsible. You don't want to have to worry about things not getting done later on.

I agree with the last poster that you have enough stress w/o having people who you know are not reliable to have to rely on. are you having only a best man on the groom's side? if so, that's an easy explanation . . . you want small simple wedding party.
also the more girls, the more possibility of finding a dress that all will like. And if any say something you can always explain as you did for us. . . where were you for this event etc. . .
It is difficult when it comes to relatives and keeping peace so good luck. be strong and remember it's your wedding and you should be able to do it the way you want.

Ask who you want. I was presured into asking someone b/c my two friends who are BM felt bad. I am still friends with the girl but not as close as we use to be. Now I am having her in the BP and she has not done one thing and doesnot call or answer my calls. Dont do what people think is right do what you think is! Good luck!
