I need advice on tipping

As Concetta can agree, tipping has been a very controversal topic on this board in the past. So, I will also tell you what we did at our Nov2000 wedding:

I know this one has been on the board before too and I know what the magazines say but what is anyone doing/have done already about tipping the owners. i.e., my DJ is the owner, my photog is the owner, my video guy is the owner, 1 of my limo drivers is the owner. I feel too strange not tipping these people who are working all day. After all, the photographer happens to be the owner but still pays rent, employees, whoever develops and retouches the pics so it's not like the cost goes directly in his pocket. Please, please give suggestions, opinions....
