I've now begun to scour the internet for used bridal gowns or for pictures of dresses I like at Kleinfeld so they will have a good idea of what I want when I go there a month from my wedding with no dress to wear.
I swear I am going to drive myself insane...there's still 3 1/2 weeks until my second fitting...and there's definitely a chance everything could be fine...but I just don't see how it can be.
I don't want to spend the next month of my life in constant distress, but I can't stop myself...I do this and watch Say Yes to the Dress like a lunatic. Help meeeee!!

I would call the shop and tell them that you are really upset about this and that they need to put a rush on the alterations . . . . . let then know that you are planning at looking else were for another gown. tell them that is is stressing you so much that you can't eat or sleep etc.

thats what i would do too. this should be considered an emergency because if it doesnt work out, you're going to have to start from scratch

I agree .. They shouldnt have you on the hook for so long when in the end if it doesnt work out you have to find something else. Light a fire under their as s. Good luck!!! And dont worry - even if it comes down to waiting the full time and the worst happens and you dont like it - Kleinfeld wont let you leave without a dress. They were great !!!!!!!!!
