She did a friend's wedding and it was really nice. If we couldn't get the officiant we wanted, we were going to contact her.

If your like me, and your looking for a civil official (judge, justice of the peace or civil cler, check out this website I can across with a listing of judges and clerks. If you decide to contact any of them, please let me know how it goes.
He used to be a vendor on the site, if you are interested, I can dig up his information.
I loved his ceremony! It was more about LOVE! He goes over EVERYTHING he is going to say during the ceremony, and you can make it shorter if you'd like.

My FI and i met her and shes realy sweet and great. we just thought she was too expensive otherwise we would have booked her. We are mtg Rev Deb on MOn so i will report on 06 board then

That's who we used. He was wonderful. I called some of the LIW vendors before him, and they were more expensive and it seemed like every ceremony was the same--one I called and she said first I'll say this, then this...Renwick Jackson personalized it for us, and met with us several times before the ceremony. His rate was also better than anyone else I called.

We used Harris Cohen as well. He was amazing. Phone: 631-924-5078
He has worked at Vineyard Caterers and my wedding was just this year on the Monday of labor day.
Let me know if you want any other recommendations as my vendors did a great job.

I found a reverend, Who is wonderful. You can design your own ceremony how ever you want. (My FI and I did not want a religious ceremony.) Here Is her information.

We had Rev Janine Burns booked too. The day of my wedding our Maitre D came up to us & said 'I dont want you to freak out, but Dr Burns thought your ceremony was at 4:30. She has another apt at 6:00' Our wedding was at 5:30. She got an invitation, we spoke with her numerous times...not sure how she did that one.
She is really nice, but has scheduling problem. She cancelled our meetings 3 times & left weird messages saying 'I cannot make it tonight, but I have you in my calendar for tomorrow. I'm not sure when we were supposed to meet.' She did that twice!
Needless to say we had a stand in rev that we met a half hr before our wedding. She did a great job, but I am not sure of her name.

Just to kind of say something else, I contacted her in JUNE about officiating our wedding, and never heard back from her, so needless to say we booked someone else. Low and behold YESTERDAY she sends me an email, that yes she is available for our date and would like to schedule an appointment to meet. What? Three months later? Uh, ok.
