I need health insurance so bad...I need a union job! Sorry, I just wanted to complain. I know this is hard to find, but anyone know of anyplace that is hiring part time workers that includes health insurance (ie: I know some hospitals have positions like that)

Try any of the major hospitals. Before I was f/t at LIJ I worked p/t (3 days per week/21 hours) and I got health insurance.

Uh, this may not be what you want, but Starbucks gives health insurance at 20 hours a week.

Nothing against the starbucks people...God knows I love 'em...but I can not believe that they get insurance and my bank does not!

I know! It's a great perk and there are people who work there *just* for the insurance.

Blockbuster is the same way. My FI used to work for them and as long as you worked enough hours to cover the insurance you could get it. He worked there one day a week just for the insurance.

Is Starbucks hiring??? Insurance w/ 20 hours. Wow that's great. My health insurance ***** and I work 40 hrs. I need to move to Canada where the ins. is free!! Or maybe Australia
