Ok so I am booked with Tobo foods. Those of you who do not know what that is, it's a food truck that comes at the end of the night, they have the following days newsday with a personalized front cover, bagels, and hot pretzels. They sit outside the hall and wait for my guests come out to enjoy.
Problem is, there is another wedding going on, and she extended her time 1 hr. So instead of hers ending at 11pm it now ends at 12am. Mine ends at 12:30am, and Tobo will be there by 11:30pm. Anyway, I told them that any person without my favor will not be allowed anything from the truck, but I wanted to maybe write something on the back of the favor tag so they know they need to hold onto the favor in order to get a surprise at the end of the night. (i kept this a secret from everyone for 8 months now)
Question is, what do I write? some kind of rhyming poem? Should I even worry about writing anything? Should I attach another tag... I'm at a loss, and my day is in 6 days!!! ahhhh

How about just doing a bracelet as they are leaving they grab it on the way out? They dont need to put it on but maybe the DJ could announce just to grab one or maybe a custom goody bad so if they go to the truck with that specific bag for snacks the truck will know.

You should have the waiters or maitre d' hand out 'tickets' to your guests on their way out to give to the food truck vendor so that only your party can redeem them, like the ones you see at carnivals or for raffles.

FH makes them all the time for D.Jing. He does them on photoshop and has them printed at staples.

I agree with the ticket idea.....otherwise, can you have them set up a 'station' just outside of your reception room?

ticket idea!! I used pink tickets at my e-party and have a almost a full roll left if you want them! I live in Suffolk county. Let me know

Have the MC annouce it to everyone, and when you do the table greetings tell everyone to keep it for the food truck! My cousin did this when her favor was the photobooth picture :)

I agree with the money or ticket idea. You could get the raffle tickets right from Walmart real wuick and have them handed out as they leave. Letting them know there is a suprise outside for them.

At the last wedding I went to, they had an ice cream truck. The bride and groom had spoons with a ribbon of their monogram tied to them at each table. When the truck arrived, the DJ announced that there was a truck outside and to make sure we had our spoons so we could get it (and eat with it!).
Perhaps you can do something similar?
