I need bridal shops in Nassau

I am going dress shopping with my friend who needs a wedding gown. She does not want to spend over $1000. What places do you recommend?
I already made an appt with lillettes.

I've heard really great things about Lynbrook Bridal (i think thats what its called)

I went to Lynbrook--they are very nice there and if you see anything you want and try it on at another place, if they can get you the dress, they usually offer to lower the price. I also went to Macy's in Manhassett---which has dresses for every price range by Demetrios.

I would recommend them too ... a lot of people talk bad about them, but my dress is from mthem and I love it. I am getting it altered somewhere else, though. My Oleg Cassini was $1000 but on sale for $800.

Mine too as well. My dress is beautiful and it was on sale for 750.

I would try Beautiful Bride in Lynbrook on Merrick Road. I have heard very mixed things on Lynbrook Bridal.

There is also another one in Baldwin -- Bridal World I believe is the name.

It might be slightly over the $1,000 budget but try Lillette's in Baldwin- it's worth looking at.

If you do go ask for Gerri- she's a doll to work with.

Any of the shops out east seems to be the ones that people get inexpensive ones at....hope that helps lol

Yes i think so too.. I bought mine in Rocky Point and I live in western nassau. If you do want out east try Fantasia in RP.

oops sry didn't see that you made an appointment at Lillette's already- I'd also try David's Bridal in the Source mall. It's a bit hit or miss there but it's reasonably priced.
