Hello ladies! Just ordered my invitations, and am now trying to find someone to do calligraphy. I am open also to computerized calligraphy. Who did you use, what was the cost, and were you happy with the results? I live in MA, so I''ll be mailing them to someone -- so I want it to be someone I can trust!!!
Her name is Mary Binder and she is located in Wantagh. She does unbelieveable work!! She will fax you samples and she does about 20 different styles. It was 70 cents a line, which I found to be reasonable for hand caligraphy in doing research. I just picked my envelopes up on Saturday and was thrilled. She is a very sweet and professional women - I could not have been happier. I was actually pretty surprised how happy the caligraphy made me. I even had to bring an envelope to my office and show everyone - by far the nicest caligraphy I had ever seen. I sound like a commercial now - he he. She is now doing my placecards as well. I think I'm going to use Calligraphy lady too. Her stuff looks great on the site -- plus a few brides that post at weddingchannel.com used her and said she did a great job.

Did you find a calligrapher? I have been doing calligraphy for a while and can fax/mail you some samples if you want. I got into it because I individually calligraphied my invitations when I got married. Since then, I have been doing envelopes for a bunch of brides around NYC.
