did anyone really like picking flowers.... im stuck on the bridesmaid bouquets--- even though the wedding is in october i dont want the traditional 'fall flowers' ... im actually trying to stay away from that and go more towards a soft yellow.... the girls will be wearing brown... any ideas?! sunflowers and gerbera daisies are OUT!

i hated picking out flowers...i met with the florist though and after looking through books i figured out exactly what i wanted! make a florist appt and it should all fall into place

Ok... so you'd have to check with your florist to see what would be available, however, I have some suggestions:
Anemone - Aster Lilies Dahlia Delphinium
With brown, since you want to stay away from fall colors - you could do bright yellows... pale yellows.... pinks...
They come in different colors...

I am getting married the week after you and also wanted stay away from the traditional fall colors.
I decided on a deep dark purple and ivory.
I think after you meet with a florist and see the flowers in books or even in person it gets a little easier.
I have spent countless hours looking at them online and it can be overwhelming.

I am getting married in Oct also and did not want 'fall colors' either. My BM's are wearing platinum. I booked my florist today - and she was GREAT. I want purples, pinks and ivory flowers and she showed me lots of different combinations that were beautiful. I'm so happy to have the flowers done

I didnt want fall colors either... the florist showed me purple and peach roses for the BMs (with other stuff I cant remember what though) it looked really pretty!!!!!!!

pink and brown look good together, my friend had chocolate dresses and pink roses. very nice!
plae yellows will look great and also the pale pinks. honestly - i hated picking out flowers.... i went to the florist i ended up booking with a few pictures i liked.. and she went from there... a good florist will be able to use their creativity and be able to take whatever colors you want and run with it and suggest flowers good luck lizzie!
