My fiancee and I have finished everything except flowers. We are getting married next May so we figured we'd look at flowers this May to see what's out.
Does anyone know of any good places? Prices?? Quality??? We are totally lost on this and are not sure what to expect.

Hidden Essence - Michelle is wonderful and was 1000 less then everyone else for the same flowers and quantity. BOK's and CP's were beautiful.

We went with Distinctive Floral Designs on Jericho in Mineola- All of the above are good florists though, so I would narrow these options down to the ones closest to your venue, then go with the best price from there- I got quotes from Burton's as well as Distinctive and they were right around the same price. Florists really vary in their price ranges though so I would definitely shop around.

Our florist is AMAZING!.. here is a preview of the flowers she did for my e-party. FM if you want her contact info, she does them out of her house so she is much cheaper than a retail store
The vases all had pearls in it, they were fantastic!

I also recommend Distinctive Floral Design! I met with 2 other popular florists and Distinctive was cheaper by a couple of hundred dollars. I worked with Kris and she was great with helping me create a vision (I had no idea what I wanted lol)

Yeah distinctive throws in alot of extras, like cake flowers, an extra bridal bouquet for the toss, and included rose petals for all of the tables and cosages for my readers :)

The owner is Amanda, and she is absolutely fabulous! I went to tons of florists and had no idea what kind of flowers I wanted... she was the ONLY one who actually went to the flowers, pulled stuff out and started putting things together for me to get a visual. She also was very affordable.
Burton's was affordable too and the good thing about them is that you can pick any flowers you want without the price changing, so you don't have to decide right away... but I have heard some not great reviews (like flowers being wilted part way through the day and them showing up late). Even still, we might have used them except our wedding is a Monday and they wouldn't do it because they are closed.
Anyway, give Amanda a try :)

Highly recommend Verbena in Hicksville. They also did the flowers for my bridal shower, which were gorgeous. I went in for my sample centerpiece on Friday, and they're just awesome to work with. Can't say enough good things about them!
