I am getting so lost in a flurry of stuff still to do, that I don't know what to do first. Some people are telling me I have tons of time, others yelling that I am running out. I have 7 months until the big day, and I still have the following things to do:
-Honeymoon -Flowers -Headpiece -finish registering -find an apartment! -buy furniture! -Limos -Invitations -Bridal Party gifts
What do I HAVE to do before year end?

I would do Honeymoon, Flowers and Invitations next. Everything else you still have time but it never hurst to start looking.

Almost forgot...find an apartment. Believe me it is very hard to find a decent apartment for a decent price.

I also have less than 7 months to go and I feel the same way. Except I have much more than you to do. We haven't even booked a photographer or musician yet. We are in the process of getting THAT outta the way, then we will move on to invitations flowers n honeymoon. Time is just going sooooooooooooooo fast. The holidays aren't going to help anything either!!! It's only going to go faster!! aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh

Don't get crazy ... prioritize! Flowers probably next ... ask around get some quotes. We booked ours but didn't have to put down a deposit - we still haven't given them any money, now that I think of it ... they should be willing to hold the date. We asked the hall who they recommended, then friends, then saw 3 reputable places. We went w/the hall's place.
Registering is a process, so get started ... I went w/Mom first then w/FH later. I treated him to dinner @ Cheesecake later which helped!
Limos can be done later, also headpiece, invites & BP gifts. But plan your honeymoon now... it's fun!

Okay. Here is what I would do (JMO) -Discuss honeymoon budget and ideas with FH Do you want a beach HM, adventure HM, a romantic getaway? How much can you afford to spend? I highly recommend Christine at Liberty Travel in Levittown 516-731-5300 She was the only travel agent able to put together our South African HM -order invite samples over the next few days and start to think about what you would like and your budget. If you want your envelopes done with hand calligraphy also get samples and prices. -Prepare an excel spreadsheet or Word doc. of your guest list with all addresses. Excel is easier since you can have it auto-calculate the number of guests by adding up one of the columns. Do this part now and it will save you tons of time later- trust me. -Depends on the type of headpiece you want. Try www. glamgal.com I ordered my FG gown from her and she is wonderful -May is a super popular month so you need to find your florist and limos before the holidays. Bridal Party gifts can wait, registering can wait until after the holidays Finding an apartment is a total pain but if you find one now you would need to start renting it asap, they will not wait until April/May without getting paid. So I would start in Feb for your apartment. As long as you have a bed (doesn't take very long to get one of those) and a lamp the other furniture can wait for a few days.
