i Need HELP!!!!

I am having so so so much trouble deciding on vendors. Can anyone help? the only thing i have booked is the RH which is Chateau Briand. I am looking into cassarino studios for photography and video and j.a.c.k & rose for floral.. any advice would help. especially if you have experience with these two vendors or have heard good/bad things about them

I visited with Cassarino - and i liked them a lot!! I would have probably chosen them if I wasn't soo particular about photography. They are really good and reaosnably priced! I recommended them to a friend and she ended up choosing them so it depends on preference. Look into Duet also - they are good.

as for Flowers - try Flower michele also!
I didn't visit with the vendor you mentioned but FM is reallly good!

My advice would be to look at one type of vendor at a time...really starting with any of the major ones is okay but photography and flowers seem to book up a little faster than dj...you still do have a lot of time though.

So, if you start with photography say...you are considering Cassarino- (if you absolutely loved them and had a gut feeling), then I say book, but it seems that you are not sure yet; so check out others, use this site and your Rh vendors as starting points- that should give you more than enough options.

In general, you dont have to check out every single vendor in a category but once you are the 3rd or so, you get an idea of what you like and what you dont like, then you can make an informed decision and feel more confident because you have seen what is available to you and at what price and you can make you decision based on what you really like and what you can afford- usually if your budget is reasonable and you do good research and bargain a little, you can get what you want in your price range (without compromising too much).

Using LIW to look for reviews of vendors is such a usefull tool because you can sometimes elimate a vendor if you contintually read bad reviews or if you think they are way out of your price range (please though, note the word, 'continually'...you have to realize that noone is perfect and there will always be a negative review on a vendor but a few does not paint the real picture, just remember to filter whatever you read and remember that you never know both sides of the story and what the circumstances were)

I did not check out cassarino studios but when I was looking for reviews of them on here- I read very good things and saw really really nice work from them. never heard of ************* floral- sorry

As for the other vendors, I didn't deal with them, but your best bet is to see a few vendors in each category to get a feel for what is out there.

i wouldn't worry about florists until these are booked. Florists don't have to worry as much as getting booked up in a day like the others do.

I also have not looked at any of your vendors but i'm starting my flower search next month and ************* is one of my stops. i'll post about it after i meet with them.

I am also booked at Chateau Briand, I booked with J@ck & R ose Florist and absolutely loved meeting with Jack. My meeting lasted about 2 hours with him. There are mixed reviews about them, but I am very happy so far and can't wait to do my design session with them.

I didn't go with any of the recommended photog's of CB, they just weren't my style.
