Hello everyone! My fiance and I went to see some photographers recently who were all very nice and seemed to know what they were doing. However, since photography is SO important and because I have heard horror stories, I want to make sure we make the right decision. The photographer & videographer we are seriously considering is Duval Photographers and Videographers in Wantagh. Has anyone dealt with them for their wedding, or knows someone who used them? What do you think?
Another photographer we are considering is Proline Studios.
Any advice, based on experience, would be trememdously helpful for my fiance and I!

Definitely check out Michael Rosengard (North Island Photography). He takes awesome photos, really captures the emotions on people's faces. Check out his website:
We went with dan wagner!!!!!! He shoots every wedding himself and he has sample videos on his site.

I visited proline and was not impressed. Everything was extra. There was a thread last week about them, see if you can find it by doing a search.

ARTISAN PHOTO GROUP is the vendor that i have used for my E-party and also will be using for my wedding!! They are amazing!!! I love them!! I can tell you that the team they have is no pressure and they dont just try and 'sell' you!

The photographers I would have booked if I could have afforded it was Golden Moments. My girlfriend used them - very nice people and their photos are phenomenal - like right out of a magazine.

I found Proline's photos and albums to be very typical. I also posted on here about an experience I had with one of their photographers, I wont rehash it. There are a lot of photographers out there, it is tough to choose, but so much fun looking... : )

We met with North Island Photography, I was not happy with our meeting at all. I know quite a bit about photoshop and lighting and I had some questions.... well I guess he didn't like my questions. we went with Duet instead, if you want to know details, fm.
We loved George from Right Angle, but in the end he could not come down enough on price. We did like his personality and style though.
In the end, we went with Duet.
We also though 12th Night was nice, just wasn't in love with the work as much.

I met with 6 photographers, and in the end decided to go with the first one we met Photography by Christos
I know how hard it is to pick a photographer...you have to trust that person to capture all the memories of your day, and it's not easy to choose someone. We went with Photography by Christos because a) we loved his work and b) we LOVED his customer service!
Go with who you feel comfortable with since that person will be with you for the entire day of the wedding.
