FH says, in Microsoft Word, hit file, then hit print, then in the drop down box where the list of printers are you should be able to select pdf.

FH said I was wrong - and you can do it in Microsoft Word, by selecting file, then print, then in the drop down box where the printer is listed select pdf. If that doesn't work, send me FM.

you generally won't be able to save a ppt as a pdf unless you have a pdf writer. you can goto www.createpdf.com or google create pdf and click on adobe's online pdf site. you'll need to sign up for a account and they'll give you 5 trials to convert any doc you have into a pdf.
