Here is the situation........................I am going on my 8th year of teaching and feel that I should invite all the people who I have worked with since then. I am very close to about 80% of these people. Please give me input on what you are doing with your co-workers? Thanks
My wedding is Dec 15 and sending invite out at the end of September.....................

I had the same problem as well. I didn't invite any administrators because I'm not particularly friendly with them. I invited some teachers in my department who I'm friendly with and talk with a lot at work (about 10 of the 25 people in my dept) and then the rest were my friends at work who are around my age who I hang out with outside of work (maybe 5 of them I invited). It was really hard deciding though.

I am inviting my boss and a few people I consider to be my friends... My office is kinda away from everyone elses....and anyone who has taken the time to come up to mine and visit - people like that... People who at the picnic - i make a point of hanging out with... Those type of people...

I work in a hs - so I am inviting my department and a couple of other friends... but no bosses or principals.

I'm probably inviting part of my department (all spanish teachers, not all foreign lang. teachers) and some friends, i want to keep it to a minimum, because I feel like once i invite certain people, there are others I have to invite

I work in an office of a manufacturing plant. Invited everyone from the office, one person from shipping that I am close to and one person from the shop plus the owner.

i would just invite the co-workers who you are really close to you. im sure you have a cut off somewhere. im only inviting my boss, and a handful of others.

My FH had a terrible time with this since he's been with his company for 10 + years. I think his ultimate decision was based on his professional as well as outside relationship with his co-workers and of course inviting the boss.
Good luck...I'm sure you'll find a simple medium.

My wedding is on Thanksgiving, so I invited everyone from the office (15 people total) and specified the time of cocktails, ceremony, and reception. I think most people (if they come) will come to just the cocktails and ceremony.

I work for a large law firm and invited only 2 coworkers with whom I am friendly. One I went to law school with (went to law school with his fiance, too), and another girl I happen to be good friends with.
My DH, however, invited about 25 people from work - basically his entire group. He's been there and has been working with them for a while, though.
