Hello Ladies! I am looking to have casual outdoor (weather permitting) engagement party. I know there was a post on location and ideas. Can someone bump that thread and/or share ideas and locations? Thank you in advance.

i'm sorry i can't really help you there-- i just finished looking at places and i came up with none that were all outdoor, some had partial outdoor areas... sorry i couldn't help more but we are having our eparty at tellers in islip, used to be a bank-- pretty cool looking. i hope you are able to find something i overlooked that is all outdoor, i have heard of backyard parties-- very nice.

Before I go into posting a whole bunch that I have saved, quick question? When you say casual and outdoor, would like a clam bar or one of those work??
We were looking at places to have a clam bake for the fam during the weekend of the wedding. And I was given lots of nice restaurants that have on the water, outdoor casual dining. And are very nice and reasonable. Is that something you are interested in?

not sure about outside locations, I had mine at an American Legion, some of them are really nice

I've been to an e-party at Coco's in Huntington and was really nice. It wasn't outdoors but you were right on the water.

lido catering has a cool tent that they could put out for you!! We had out e party there last march and it was fabo

CLM has a smaller room where the CH is normally held for weddings. But I know they do smaller parties there as well. It wouldn't be all outside, but the view to the south bay is right outside your window. And if it's a nice day, they do set up beautiful tables and chairs on their back pier area where guests can bring everything outside. Plus the food is great! Good Luck!

Thank you. I love Tellers. I meant with an optional outdoor location. We might hold it at his parents house and have it catered. THank you for your input...:)

p.s. CoCo's doesn't exist anymore. They tore down the building, it's becoming a new steak place.
