I need help with Limos

I'm starting to look into limo companies and I know absolutely nothing! Any advice? Things I should make sure to ask or look out for? Thanks!

This is probably a bit of a vent, but since you're starting the process...I've been surprised at how frustrating it's been to try to book a limo company. My FI and I both work in Manhattan, and travel a lot, and while we've been putting a lot of work and time in for the wedding, we're not willing to slog out to LI on a weeknight to meet with a limo company (we both work long hours, and so this would be very difficult). What's frustrating is that getting info from limo companies has seemed like pulling teeth - either the person who does the bookings is never there or they won't give you prices over the phone, or both. This is not a criticism of any particular limo company, but a complaint about the industry in general. Since limos are not a big priority for me, I'm perfectly willing to rely on the wonderful advice given by liweddings ladies and forego the in-person meeting, but I find it strange that the companies are so reluctant to do this. Honestly, if there were a limo company that had a good reputation and could just be efficient and straightforward with me on the phone, I would book them with no fuss!

Sorry to intrude with my vent - the bottom line here is that it you need to be prepared to 'make the rounds' for limos, even if you're looking for something really basic and limos are not a priority for you.

I agree with Shawl as I have just started looking into limos. They are not a huge priority for me too. But, if you go to limos.com, you can input what you are looking for and get some quotes. I got some really good quotes and now just need to investigate the companies.
