I need help with my invitation wording!!!
OK - here is my situation....
My parents gave us 1/2 (and then some) to pay for our wedding. My absolutely amazing brotherand his wife gave us $5,000. Now, my FH's parents are divorced - his father and step mom gave us $2,000 and his mom hasn't given us anything toward planning. FH and I are paying for the remainder.
My mom expressed to me today that she would like her and my fathers name on the invite as opposed to us using the 'together with their parents/families' wording.
I want my parents names to be on this invitation but don't want to offend his father. I don't want to come off snotty however, the $2,000 his dad gave us really didn't take us too far anyway!
