I know this is early but I am starting to put together tip envelopes and I am putting them in the safe so thats done.
I have a few questions on who to tip but this is what I have so far:
Officiant- $100
Photo(I want to tip TP because he is awesome but its is tacky to tip the owner? I know my dad owns his own buisness and never takes tips)-100
second photo- $50.00( does TP bring anyone else?)
Video( again owner of the company rambing rose) $50?
maitre'd- 450?(im having 140-150 guests)
DOC-$150
DJ-50-100?
Bridal attendant- $50 Hair-50 Makeup 50
florist is a friend of the family and wont accept a tip
who else? Im not getting married at a church so no alter boys, singer etc...

i didn't tip mine... but then i felt kind of guilty and unsure if i should have... but then i felt better when I got my pics and noticed he stuck around long enough to help himself to some of the CH food!

my advice: don't seal the envelopes. I ended up taking some out of my bridal attendant (who never filled my water glass) and maitre'd (who was totally nice but didn't really do much) and added it to the video and photographers who ran around sweating like maniacs.

i think u can give the dj $50, & hair and make-up the standard 20%.
and i agree with not sealing the envelopes. if someone doesnt go above and beyond then they dont deserve a generous tip.

I think you should tip TP, if he doesn't want it he'll refuse it. For our e-pics we offered our photographer a tip but he didn't take it. If you love his work and he doesn't take the tip but want to show him a token of appreciation for his services you can always send something nice to his office
