i need help....photos

Sorry this is going to be long but....
I have posted about this a long time ago but the subject came up again....
Unfortunately my photographer will not be able to go to FH house before the ceremony to take pics of him and the guys and his family. This makes me VERY upset. I really want these pics. FH is very close with his family and i am actually closer to his family than my own.
I tried to hire another photographer through who i am using but they don't have anyone available that day (they have another wedding)
The other option was to take my pictures earlier but that meant starting to get ready at 5:00am! And then the girls and myself would be dressed and waiting around for over 2 hours until it would be time to leave. I wasn't into this option.
My FILs looked so sad when they asked me last night if the photographer was coming to the house.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
i was thinking to maybe hire a completely separate photographer for an hour or so to just go to the house. Does anyone know anybody who could do this without spending an arm and a leg?
Thank you for any input you may have.

You could hire another photographer for an hour, but I'm not sure how much that would cost. You could also try hiring a neighbor or someone that FH's family knows but is not coming to the wedding to take some pictures while they are getting ready. They just need a good digital camera. It should be someone 'on the outside', so they are not busy getting ready for a wedding, and can just go around taking candid shots. I'm sure his parents have a neighbor or someone who knows their son is getting married, but isn't expecting to be invited to the wedding.

ETA: You probably can't incorporate those pics in an album with your other photographer, but you can print them out and put them in your own album.

Hire someone else. If you don't want to spend a lot hire a photographer student or a good amateur.

Since your photographer wasnt able to help he shouldnt have any problem incorporating those photos into the album...but check with him first.

My photographer isn't going to FH's house either, and FBIL got married a few weeks ago and they didn't get pics either. I don't think that it's a normal occurance to get the pics at the FH's house unless you pay extra.

IMO: You have two options:
1) Hire another photographer to go over there or...
2) Why don't you both get ready at a Hotel near the ceremony site? That way your hired photographer would have to jump from room to room or floor to floor.

I am getting ready at the Garden City Hotel. The Ceremony is in Glen Cove. FH lives down the road from the church! Not even 5 minutes away. So i figured that the photographer would have some time to jump over there.
i'm trying really hard to work this out.

Tough situation, especially since the Photographer is hesitant to do so.

I did see a photographer quote for an 8 hour package for $500 - I'm sure 1 - 2 hours would be significantly less....do you want their information?
