I need help...re: my FH's bachelor party and lack of plans...

My FHs groomsmen are completely flaking out on his bachelor party. He told them he wanted a clam bake or something outside, very laid back, maybe a fire pit, some good food and music...low key. The B-party is Oct. 9th and his BM only called him last night about it. he told FH that they were going to have it at the local bar/restaurant. FH told them straight out over a month ago he didnt want it there (not to mention our rehearsal dinner is going to be there) . So I told FH I would look in to some ideas for him. Can you girls suggest anything (he isn't in to the strip bar/strippers)?? I need help, he's so bummed out. Thanks! Kathy

Some non-stripper ideas -

a ballgame (baseball, football) then dinner or tailgate or the ESPN zone
- going to one of those places that have arcades, go-carts, etc - I think Strike
- a casino

What if they went up to the Poconos and went white water rafting or played paintball? They could go in the morning, play all day, find a bar/restaurant and then stay the night.
They could also go to A/C, Mohegan or Foxwoods. They have really nice restaurants and then they could gamble or go to the nightclubs.
How far East do you live? The Crow's Nest does clambakes, you can check into that.

Day of fishing - it can fit all budgets depending what is chosen. A party boat out of Freeport, or a more private excursion from Montauk or pretty much any major port.

I thought I was the only one. I feel that my fiance is getting cheated out of one. He tells me not to worry about it.

My FH is going to a NASCAR race in Dover, DE this weekend.

You can do fishing out of Jones Beach/Captree too.

There is a rock climbing place in Bohemia, maybe go on a canoe trip upstate somewhere.

i know I feel so bad for him. we should have just done a joint thing - since we have all the same friends and most of them are married to each other LOL our bridal party alone consists of 3 married couples and 1 that is dating. I feel so bad..he should have a b-party...all grooms should!

I know! He's less excited about it than I am LOL I think they are going to do a clam bake/lobester dinner at one of the guys houses. Works for me. If they get their act together in 9 days LOL
