Here is the deal...My Ceremony starts at 2:00. the limos are coming for the girls at 1:15. The photographer said there will not be enough time to go the FH house for pictures which i really really want. (FH lives down the road from the church) I even offered to pay for another photographer to go take pics but they have noone available. I'm very upset about this. I really want pics taken at the house with his family. Then i had wanted to go Westbury gardens after but with the timing we would only be able to be there for 45min to an hour tops, which isn't worth it even though i really wanted pics done there. so i am trying to come up with options. Do i hire another photographer from someplace else to take pics at Fh house? Or do i just deal with it and take pics at the church and then everyone goes to the hall to take pics there? sorry this was so long and confusing. i'm confused myself!

you could hire another photograher from someplace else... but check your contract first... i know my photographer has a thing in there that he will be the only professional photographer at the wedding... in other words, i can't pay anyone else to take pictures that day. do any of your friends or family memebers ( like an aunt or uncle who won't be in the professional shots) have a nice camera that you can ask them to go to FHs house and take pics? i'm sure theres a way you can work it out. as for westbury gardens- i think 45- an hour is an ok amount of time for pics.... thats about what we're gonna have, and its about what we had for my friends wedding i was in last summer. i think you could get some decent shots in that amount of time- everybody just has to be organized

Go to Westbury Gardens to take pics. It will be worth it even if it's for a short time. You can get at least 20 shots in that time. As far as the pics at your FH house, are you planning on seeing him before you get married? Probably not, but if the limo gets the guys and brings them to your house, they can have some casual house shots at your house. I hope this helps.

Is there any way the limos can come earlier? Then they could drop you off at the church a little earlier so the photog can go to your FHs house for a little bit.

We asked the photographer the same thing...after taking pics of the girls could he go take pics with my FH and his parents and groomsmen at East Wind. He said for the few pics that they take it's not worth the rushing around...they literally take like not even 10 pics. In your case if you def want pics at your FHs house then I would look into getting someone else or having the limos pick you up earlier so the photog can head over to his house sooner.
