I see everyone kind of has a theme I dont I need some ideas on like table numbers, I was going to do flowers but IDK cause I was going to do a black and white wedding but FH isnt too big on it

my only theme is pumpkins or fall. lol. i don't have one.
we're going to do pics of us for the table #s I think. I was going to carve pumpkins w table #s but it' annoying. lol

I dont really have a 'theme' i just have things i am incorporating that mean a lot to FH.
We got engaged at Yankee stadium - so we have baseball and the yankees incorporated into some things
Do you guys have a fav activity? have a fav vacation spot? a pet? all those things you can have as table numbers
you can use pics of the 2 of you - when you were babies or now..
you have some time so just search around and im sure you'll find something that stands out

if you do black and white theme you can do things that are black and white that do together like salt and pepper.

honestly it all just started out with a color combo and then I found an invitation I loved and the image on it I loved so I started using it in other areas and I just ran from there.
Myabe do some internet searching to see if you find any kind of images or colr combination that catch your attention and just start thinking of different areas of the wedding you can use it. Pretty soon you will start to see everything come together and you will have a 'theme'.
Though on a side note, you don't necessarily have to have a 'theme' to your wedding.

As far as the black and white theme, I love it!
Myabe if you find an accent color you love you can use that to add little slashes of color to your wedding. FSIL did a black and white Damask theme to the wedding with an accent color of Apple Green and everything came out amazing!

I'm doing Black, White and Lime green. I love the way the colors look together. And since butterflys have a special meaning to me, I'm throwing them in here and there (ex: flowers, jewlery).

We are doing names of different wines for our table numbers. I also debated using names of local wineries for the tables, but I thought putting names of wines and describing them would be a little learning experience. Other ideas are places you've been together, names of songs or bands, or even composers, broadway shows if that's your thing, street names that mean something, pictures of each of you at the age that is the # of the table, or even just use your epics. If you don't really want a theme, what you can do is just think of colors and the season and make a cohesive look from there. Or you can find what they call a motif, where you find a design you like and just incorporate it everywhere you can. Martha Stewart weddings has a lot of design inspiration.

I was totally gonna do the same pumpkin thing w the carved out numbers, but my family talked me out of it and said I would be gi ving mysellf way too much stress and tool much to do a day or 2 before my wedding. So I agreed. and I don't want to do the fake michaels ones, cus up close, they just look too fake.

I don't have a theme. We knew we wanted to give our wedding our own special touch so we're incorporating our dog into the STD, we're having pics of us as the table numbers and our favors are going to be a donation. I don't think you NEED a theme, just do whatever you like.

Agreed. You dont have to have a theme...we weren't going to have one until FH decided he wanted one last week The colors that you want can be your theme!
