Hi..I need help planning my SIL shower. My MIL insists that it be in a Mexican restaurant. Everything needs to be mexican themed...food, games, favors. Where are there good Mexican restaurants? I was thinking meson Ole in babylon.... Thanks!

There is a really good Mexican Restuarant in Babylon near the train station (I think). It's been a long time but I remember their Sangria being awesome! And, they have a really pretty ouside area. It's been years though...I'll try looking it up.

I love Don Ricardos! I love the atmosphere! I also really like La Panchita - there is one in Smithtown and one in Levittown. And Viva La Vida is nice in Oakdale too.

I moved to Nassau (used to be in Suffolk). I'll have to check out that place in Levittown for lunch since I work in Hicksville.

lol I just looked up La Panchita and I was there a few months ago with my fiance. To be honest with you, I wasn't that impressed with my meal. Then again, I can't eat all that much since I eat low carb.

You should check it out - it is right on Hempstead Turnpike in a little shopping center. Great food, awesome sangria!

Dont know where u r looking,but In nassau-there is Cozy Mels in westbury. Also, Don Juan in Massapequa is all re-done- very nice.

There's a Mexican/Italian restaurant in Bellmore (or Merrick?) called Viva Loco. Their food was excellent, and their party room was great too. They've got a website

Baja Grill in Smithtown (I think there might be another one some where) or Salsa Salsa in Smithtown is pretty good too!

IM A MEXICAN FOOD HOOKER!!! anyway, i LOVE don ricardos in babylon, aztec emperor in seaford (not sure if they have a sep party room) viva loco in bellmore is great..and panchos on hemp tpke in bethpage i think it would be considered.. good luck!!
