I need IPOD help

Okay I know nothing about this damn thing and Im sorry I got this for my mom for Christmas. Im trying to download music onto here. Someone told me to use limewire, okay I have the songs that I want and they are showing up on itunes page. How in da hell do I get this music on the IPOD itself.

Please help it seems as though Im duplicating music on here. How do I get off what is already on here.

To delete duplicate songs, right click on the song you want to delete and click Clear I believe. You have to exit iTunes and plug the iPod into the computer for the songs to sync over to the iPod itself. HTH.

Once you've transferred songs into your itunes library, all I do is drag them from the library and onto my ipod. As long as your ipod is connected to the computer, it should recognize it on itunes and list it on the left hand side of the box (in the same column as the libaray, podcasts, music store, etc.) You just click on the song you want, and drag it to where it says 'ipod'. If you have playlists set up already, you would just drag it into the playlist you want it in. Hope this makes sense..I'm so bad at explaining this stuff!

My iPod came with software that I had to download first that walked me through the process of 'registering' my iPod it wouldn't let me download anything from my computer to it until I had done that.
