I need LOTS of help!!

Can anyone PLEASE help me??

My future husband and I are getting married on August 16th. I had my heart set on a fall wedding but he has his heart set on getting married on an island that his now deceased grandfather frequently took him to as a child. So I compromised and we're having our wedding on the island but a fall themed reception elsewhere. I have no idea where to begin with the planning (we JUST got engaged) so can anyone please help me with any ideas, tips, favor ideas, DIY projects, (I love them) pictures, ANYTHING that has to do with fall themed weddings? I plan on using the colors orange, brown, burgandy, the typical fall colors. I love everything fall except Im not so big on the grape thing. Thank you all so much (in advance) for all of your help.

OOh Im having a fall themed wedding too. I have a pic of my centerpieces in my album. I believe there is a whole fall thread somewhere.

wow, well you don't have a lot of time in your hands so I would start with the most important things first. Finding a place to get married, a RH on the island, hotel rooms plane tickets. Then the rest you can take your time with. Are you having a reception there as well or back home? you can do a forum search and type fall themed weddings you will see a bunch of ideas. Good Luck!

Definitely lock down a RH first (if you are having your fall themed reception back home somwhere!)

Then you can work on the all the vendors. Your RH will recommend many vendors and you start by calling them and then price out some other ones! Dont worry about timing. I booked my wedding 6 months out and had everything pretty much done within 5 weeks! (And we live in NJ and are getting married on Long Island).
