I booked someone for hair & makeup for my wedding and when I called her last weekend to go over things, turned out that she double booked. So now I stuck looking for someone else.
Please recommend your hair & makeup vendors. I need someone who can travel to me. Also, if you can include a price that would be great. I'm ssssooooo stressed over this.

OMG i'm so sorry Vicky!! I can't believe this happened because you loved her =(
Are you absolutly sure she is double booked? she gets frazzled sometimes and mixes things up. She may be thinking my wedding is the same day as yours. Maybe call to double check?

However, I do know of a guy in the city named Emir and supposedly he is very good too. His number is 917-309-8831. He can travel too.

Yup, I called her to move the time forward to make sure everyone is ready in time and she went to pull my contract and found she also had someone else named Vicky for the same day. I'm so pissed cause this is the last thing I need right now. Thanks! I'll give him a call after work. I'm gonna send you the pics tonight cause FH is finally brigning the camera home.

Try Melinda from Melinda Makeup. She can also talk to you about hair people. Other wise, I can suggest my local person (Astoria) who live out that way and met me in Roslyn do my party. Let me know.

I am using Makeup by Marisa-- she comes to you and then Hair Designs by Angela for hair and she comes to you too...both very reasonably priced and take their time with their work. FM me if you want more info. :) good luck- it will work out!

I used Stacey from Fresh Face Foward for makeup but I know her friend works with her for hair as well. I had a great expereince with Stacey. They are vendors on LIW.
