Pick a dress that will flatter all your bridesmaid bodies.

I agree. Its a beautiful dress, but I would be miserable, and possibly drop out of the bridal party if I had to wear it. I am pear shaped, and that type of dress is terrible on me. My brother's ex-wife made us wear similar dresses, and several of the girls and I were miserable, uncomfortable, and embarrassed all night. So, if your girls have model-like bodies, than definitely go for it!

I think the color is beautiful, and that you can do any color any time of year. I did red BM dresses in July, and a lot of people before the wedding thought red was christmasy, but at the wedding and after, everybody told me how beautiful the red dresses looked.

Don't judge a dress by a picture!!! My BM who is 3 months pregnant tried this dress on and she fell in love with this dress. As soon as she put it on, she said, 'This is the ONE!!!!!' She is tall, so yes, she can carry it, but she has a belly, and hips and a VERY large chest and it seriously looked amazing on her. Although it looks like a real mermaid dress, it is much more A-line in person. It flares more in the back than the front. It is seriously gorgeous on (even I tried it on, for fun!). I just hope people realize that the way a dress looks in a picture is not always how it looks in person...in this case, its even better!!!
