I need new glasses, except I only like to buy things online.

I can't really buy glasses without trying them on first.

What a conundrum.

I went to Costco, but I found nothing I like. So I am discouraged.

Do people still go to LenCrafters these days are is there a cooler place I should know about?

I haven't bought frames in over 5 years. Terrible. I wonder why I am blind.

I went to Wize Eyez last time for contacts and wasn't impressed with their service (in Massapequa). They told me the contacts prescription in both eyes was the same. Foolishly, I believed them.

Now I know better and have to go to a local guy. I don't know of any super duper places but Wize Eyez had a good selection of frames. I've used Pearle also in the past.

I went to Cohen's and they had a nice selection.
Although Big Man's insurance only covered the lame-o frames I am currently wearing.

I didn't think of insurance. I was just going to pay for them outright...

Costco has Prada, etc for $99 for frames. But I didn't see any I liked.

I have the rx already from my eye doc.

I will try those others. Thanks again.

They will require you to get a new prescription if it's been over 1 year - same for contacts.

I got mine from my optrician, I bought Dior ones - that were just too expensive - when adding up the thin lenses, reflection-protection, and everything else they suckered me into 'needing.'
