Background - technically, FH and I got married at City Hall in March, so we were thinking of starting to try to get preggo within the next few months, but were waiting to take blood tests to see if we test positive for any jewish genetic diseases... so, I went off the pill in early August... and have been using protection since...
Last weekend we had an 'accident' ... a couple of times... I didn't think it was a big deal because I was supposed to get my period on Wednesday... I've always been like clockwork, even before I was on the pill... well, it's Sunday, and still no period... but I'm having bizarre symptons... discharge, dizzy, light headed, absolutely FAMISHED, and light cramping last week...
Is it possible I'm preggo???? Is it too early to take a test?

It could be your body adjusting to getting off the pill. You can take a test at this point. Usually it comes up positive after a day or 2 of your missed period. So if you are pregnant it would probably come up by now.

If you have passed when your period is due it is definitely not too early to test!!

If you just stopped your pill in the beginning of August, your body is probably going thru changes.
When were you due? If you had an accident on say 8/28 and you were due 9/1 I would say you would have nothing to worry about.

If that is the case, I would say you were past ovulation if you were due on 9/1. ...but then again, I am not a DR
your body is probably just messed up from going off the pill.

The problem with when you come off the pill is your whole cycle goes out of whack. So you may think you were past ovulation when you and your hubby had some fun but that's going by your old cycle. Coming off the pill you're probably going to have a new cycle and a new o-day. Obviously your period date has changed from 9/1 so that means you are on a new cycle now.

D'oh!! I hadn't thought of that when we had our little fun... and now, I'm over a week late... and I don't feel at all like I'm getting my pd... I'll wait until the weekend and do another hpt...
