I am going next month to the Bahamas for my Bacholorette Party. We're staying at the Riu(has anyone stayed there or heard of it?) and it says that dinners are formal. Do you think these dresses are appropriate for the bahamas or are they too dressy so to speak?
I think they're just right! I especially love the third one for a formal Bahamas dinner! It's beachy and beautiful but not too informal!

I love all of these dresses and would where any of them in a heartbeat! They are 100% appropriate for the Bahamas! Have an amazing time!

I stayed at the Riu is Aruba - it's an awesome hotel chain...you're gonna have a blast!!!!

we stayed there in 2006 and honestly the food was aweful at the buffet. i think we ate hot dogs and burgers and fries all week. the hotel itself is ok. we had read mixed reviews about it before going. atlantis is next door so you can always go there for dinner. have fun!!
ETA: they have 3 restuarants at the RIU for dinner but you have to go really EARLY to make reservations. the food there was decent. they're not that formal. i wore short pants and a shirt, FH wore linen pants. don't go crazy.

The dresses look great and are perfect for the Bahamas. I stayed at a Rui in Puerto Plata and I loved it. You will always get mixed reviews about places because no Resort can please all the people all the time. I look forward to staying at the Rui in the Bahamas in the next year as well. Have a great time.

i'm sorry but i've never been to a resort where you have to be on line at 8am to make dinner reservations or else you're stuck with the buffet dinner.

Look at her! She is in the bahamas! That means youll look that hot there! all joking aside, i know what you mean, but Trust me, those are perfect. I would even wear those in the summer around here. Theyre easy to dress up or down...

The way I see it, there is nothing too dressy when you are on vacation (unless you are wearing like a long black gown or something!) They are really pretty!
