I am trying to decide if I need a new headshot. I actually like this shot, but was wanting other opinions. I would like to know your immediate response to the picture. If you get the feeling that I might be someone that you would like to meet or if you think I look harsh and b!tchy. I am hoping that from you I can get a sense of what casting directors and agents think when they see my headshot. TIA!!
My immediate thought was 'Soap Star'!! I don't know if this is good or bad for you, but you looked like the nice type of soap star anyway!!! (you did say immediate response right? ) I think you look approachable looking!!

Re: I need opinions on my headshot please!!!!
what a nice shot! Your eyes look sincere and pretty nad girl next door, but you've got just enough smirk and attitude. This is coming from someone who has only some expereience casting and directing, but at the college level. I think it's a great shot. You like it, and the expense of getting new ones it so high, even if it weren't, I'd still say keep this one. I really like it. It's actually a really sharp and compelling photo as well.

I think you look great! You do have a 'serious' look on your face but I wouldn't call it harsh. I think the curly hair softens your look and, if I were a casting person, I would think that you would have the range in looks to play either the heroine, the girl next door, the best friend, or the evil girl. Hope that helps!

You do look great but you also remind me of someone I work with and she is a b*tch so that would probably be my first impression. Of course, no fault of your own.

Re: I need opinions on my headshot please!!!!
I decided to say my immediate thoughts
I thought 'mature', 'smart' ,'Pretty' 'Caring' I say mature as in smart really because you also look sweet in it. I thought of a movie star or soaps..not so much TV.. To be honest it gave me a feeling of someone like Julia Roberts....
Hope that helps..
Its GOURGEOUS by the way! AMAZING !

Stunning and it is amazing how much warmth you convey through a 2-D image. I really like it.
