I need Photo Location help!!

I need Photo Location help!!

I had called OWG and they only had a short time frame available for my date and it would be cutting it too close and we would be rushed

FH and I checked out the vanderbilt yesterday, they only had 2 locations available and we were not really impressed and it really wasnt wasnt what i was looking for.

so now i am stuck. i have another place in mind that i want to check out but do any of you have any suggestions?

we are getting married in rockville centre and our RH is WCC.

i was going to say the carousel in hempstead lake state park but it is probably going to be picnic crazy in there.

there is a park in garden city by the GCH I dont know the name but my friend took wedding pics there!! Very pretty!! This is prob where I will do mine too!!

we're just doing our pics at WCC...they have pretty grounds...that was part of the reason we chose them.

I think the location you are talking about is not a park. It is across the street from the garden city hotel, in front of the garden city LIRR station. Not a park, just a gazebo with some grass around it set back a little from the sidewalk. The gazebo is pretty though.

yes i plan on taking pictures at WCC too. the problem is that my ceremony is at 1 and my cocktail is at 7 so i will have a large gap of time inbetween so to utilize this i want to take pictures elsewhere as well, i figure why not since i have all this time

I dont know?? Maybe there is another place then b/c my friend took her wedding pics there & it looked to be mroe than just a gazebo set a little back from the sidewalk?? Her pics were beautiful!!

there is another place - planting fields arbortorium (spelling?) you should be able to google it.

Don't get me wrong...the location is very pretty...there are trees and bushes around and all...it's just not a big park or anything.

If you have a large time gap in between then you should def look into the planting fields!! I saw pics there, they are amazing!! If I had enough time I would be going there!!!!!!!!!!!
