Yesterday afternoon I took my dad in to the hospital for pnemonia and they ended up finding a blood clot in his lung. Hes in critical condition...I havent slept or eaten. Im sitting here in the waiting room just hoping and have nobody to talk to. I dont pray very often....but I do know the power of prayer in numbers so please pass some on. I know I should go home...but I just cant bring myself to do it....
He's so scared and I just cant leave. Its going to be really touch and go for the next day or two especially. I'll keep you guys updated...
Oh, and when I get a chance later I'll do the QOTD. Thank you so much ladies!!!

Aww. I am sending lots of prayers your way.
A few years ago my sister was having problems breathing and after a few days decided to go to the emergency room. They ran a bunch of tests and found a huge pulmonary embolism. They started her on coumadine (blood thinner) and after a few days she was released.
Hang in there. I'm sure he will be fine, especially now that he's in the hospital and they found the problem.

Oh wow!! It's good that they found it though. I'm very sorry about this. Here are some prayers coming your way....
My MOH's mother has a blood disorder where she gets blood clots a lot. She is on blood thinner medication. She's had similiar issues.

Amber, I am sorry to hear about your dad - but I am glad he made it through the night - that is a very positive sign. What hospital is he in?

Oh amber. . sorry to hear this will send prayers your way. .. hang in there and go see if you can maybe just walk outside for a few minutes. . to feel the breeze and let yourself be outside and then head back in. .. your dad is lucky to have you there
