We just got our invites in after waiting close to 2 months or more (should've been at most 2-3 weeks) Anyway the rsvp date on my invites is 2/24/06. Getting married 3/24/06. And its already 1/23/06!!!!! Here's the question! Anyone know of any places that do calligraphy fast and cheap!!!! In nassau county if possible!!! I tried to do it myself on my computer but its just not working and I'm kida running out of time!
We just handwrote ours. I know, not much help. But you can get one of those fancy pens.

I had mine done at Mr. Ribbon (www.mrribbon.com) and it was $160.00 for 75 invitaions. The store is located in Belrose. I had mine done in 2 days. I don't know if that is considered cheap but I thought it was very reasonable

What size are your envelopes?
If they are standard, I can send you a blank template I made up for you to print the addresses directly onto the envelopes using the mail merge feature (that is, if your guest list is set up right in excel).

They are actauly really small for wedding invites!
They are like 4 1/2' lond by 6 3/4 wide!
I tried so hard to do it myself and it's just not working! I am about to have a nervous breakdown at this point!!!!

I am getting mine done from Laura at LA Productions. She has a lady that does the caligraphy (either hand or computerized)... I don't remember the price though!!!
